Hanging Shacks

Hanging bird shacks are decorated front and back and topped with a metal roof. They hang from a sturdy metal cable.
​One side opens with the removal of a single screw for easy nest clean out. $60

These tower bird dwellings are decorated with cut horizontal lines. They can be mounted on a post, stump, railing. etc. or hung on a wall or fence with a pipe bracket that allows it to sit away from the wall for a great look. The pyramid roof is made from roofers flashing that is painted and sprayed with polyurethane.

Remove two screws on to sides to release the mounting block that can.be screwed to a post, stump, railing etc. or mount it to a special pipe bracket (sold separately) that screws to a wall, fence, tree, etc.

Sticks

Recycled, cutoff sticks from building projects were used to created these unusual bird dwelling designed to hang on a wall or fence. The curved roof is made from corrugated tin. Vintage door knobs are used as a perch. A hatch door in the bottom opens with removal of one screw for cleaning out old nests. It is easily hung on one screw.
Approximate Dimensions: 20-24" tall, 6" deep roof, 4.5 deep, 7.5" wide.

Sun & Moon Towers

Sun & Moon towers are designed to sit on top of a post, stump or railing. These towers are divided into two nesting areas. They are decorated from and back with wood cutouts. The side panel opens with a decorative clasp for mounting and cleaning out old nests. They are finished with exterior paint and they sprayed with polyurethane.

Fun & Funky

This series of bird dwellings has the option of hanging on a wall or fence, or mounting on a post railing, shelf, etc. They are finished with exterior paint and then sprayed with polyurethane. They easily hang on the wall with a French cleat or mount on a surface with a block. Click this link for hanging/mounting instructions.

Front Open

The front panel of this series lifts up for easy removal of old nests. They can easily be hung on a wall, fence, tree, with a French cleat on the back. The front panel is secured with either a clasp on the bottom or screw. Click this link for hanging/mounting instructions.

Hanging Pyramids

A four sided pyramid roof tops these bird houses that hang from a sturdy cable. Decorated on front and back with daisies, squirrel and mushroom.  Flower petals surround the 1.25" entry hole. The side opens with the removal of one screw for easy cleanup of old nests.

Hanging Stacked Roof

Three square blocks top these whimsical bird houses that hang from a sturdy cable. One side opens for easy clean out of old nests. Lots of detail.

Spider

Spider houses are for birds, not spiders! The plastic or wood cutout spiders, webs, etc. are decorative fun.  They comes with a removable mounting block in the bottom and can  be mounted on a post, stump, fence rail, shelf, etc. The back and sides are also decorated. The body is painted in metallic silver or grey and waterproof moisture barrier building material tops it off.
One side opens with the removal of one screw to easily remove old nests.

Blue Bird

​These houses are specifically designed for blue birds, although other birds, mainly sparrows, chickadees and wrens will use them. They are easily hung on a wall, tree, fence or post. The front opens easily with a release of a metal clasp to check on or clean out nests. The nest in the photo to the left is probably chickadee. Unfortunately I don't seem to have blue birds on my property. 

Dimensions: 13" tall x 5.5" wide x 6" deep.

A deer skull adorns the front of this bird house with a rusted tin roof and triangular canopy over the entry hole. The back is decorated with a branch and rusted bird. The side panel lifts up for easy clean out. Made from stained hemlock with live edge front and back,

A cedar shingle tops this rustic house with a live edge hemlock panels, front and back . It is designed to sit on a stump, post, fence rail, etc. A metal predator guard surrounds the entry hole. Rusted tin cutouts decorate the front and back.
Three screws on the bottom sides can be easily removed to release the mounting block and for nest clean out.

A-Frame

A-Frame bird dwellings are designed to sit on a custom metal pole, stump, shelf, etc. They all have a trianglular door in the back for easy clean out.   
This rustic A-frame bird house is made from hemlock with a cedar shingle roof topped with rusted metal ceiling tin. 

Stump Topper

This rustic bird house is perfect to put on top of a stump and there sure are a lot of them around here since hurricane Helene! Made from live edge hemlock front and back.Rusted corrugated tin is used for the flared roof. A metal predator guard surrounds the entry hole. Decorated with cutout tin stars and pine trees. One side opens with the removal of one screw for easy clean out of old nests.

Antler

A large deer antler is used as a perch on this house made from a vintage beer crate. Designed to easily hang on a wall or fence it can alternately stand on a table or shelf on 6 ball feet. The section of the back unscrews to easily clean out old nests. It is topped of with corrugated rusted tin and trimmed with rusted metal banding and a decorative daisy below the roof overhang. 
Dimensions:​ 22" tall, body 10.5" wide and 5.5" deep, roof 13.5" wide.

Triangle with Legs

This one-of-a-kind bird house will make a dramatic statement on a blank wall or sitting on a soft or top of a shelf (see photos below for an example). The front is made from wood cutoffs and accented with a cutout from a tin ceiling tile. The roof is corrugated tin.  It is durable enough to be placed outside. It is easy to hang on one screw but you might want to discreetly add an additional nail or screw if place in a windy area. The back comes off by removing 4 screws to clean out old nests. (See first photo below. 
Dimensions:​  33" wide, 24" from top to longest leg and 5.5" deep.
